Athlíon Body Lotion is supported with a blend of Rosewater, known to moisturise, calm and balance the skin; Sodium Hyaluronate, a water-binding ingredient that penetrates deeply into the skin, soothes and defends against moisture loss; and essential oils of Geranium, Ylang Ylang and Sandalwood.

Athlíon is a grounding, comforting Body Lotion.

Geranium, a source of anti-oxidants, is uplifting and is said to aid in the reduction of stress and tension. Its astringent qualities help tighten and firm the skin.

Ylang Ylang stimulates oil production in the skin, alleviates anxiety and stress and is a mood enhancer.

Sandalwood balances emotions, reduces anxiety, depression, exhaustion, fear and stress. It has astringent, tightening and firming qualities, helps improve circulation and promotes smoother, toned skin. It balances the immune system and is good for dry skin.

Massage into skin in circular motions paying attention to areas of need.

Hibernicis Body Lotions are a pleasure to apply, as they glide on effortlessly.

If you would like to massage more but the lotion has absorbed, simply wet your hands with fresh water and continue massaging. There is no need to use more lotion than is required.

Rose Water

A natural hydrating ingredient with antioxidant benefits, it is known to help calm the skin, reducing skin redness, fine lines and wrinkles.

Glycerin

A non-comedogenic (non-clogging), natural skin barrier which prevents the loss of water from the skin.

Squalane

A wonderfully moisturising ingredient derived from olives, which is a source of replenishing fatty acids and antioxidants.

Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil 

Emollient oil from the avocado stone, which has antioxidant properties and is a good source of skin-replenishing fatty acids.

Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) butter

A fantastic, smoothing moisturiser, which is extracted from the karite tree and is used as an emollient in cosmetics. Shea butter doesn’t just have a rich texture, it’s also a rich source of antioxidants, as well as skin-replenishing fatty acids. It is a wonderful ingredient for dry skin.

Saccharine Isomerate 

Skin emollient and moisturiser, derived from maize.

Sodium Hyaluronate

A naturally occurring component of skin tissue, Sodium Hyaluronate has restorative abilities that boost the skin's moisture content, soothe, and defend against moisture loss. It is capable of holding up to 1,000 times its own weight in water, making it an optimal hydrator for all skin types. In addition, it also provides an antioxidant defense against environmental assault.

Xanthum Gum

A natural gelling agent which helps thicken the formulation. It is a polysaccahride, type of sugar that is made from a bacteria called Xanthomonas campetris.
